I can't drink pasteurized milk. It literally makes me sick. I can drink all the raw milk I want with no ill effects and since I can't eat much during my first trimester, raw milk was a life-saver. It definitely kept me going. I hope everything goes well for you as you are on bedrest and that you and your baby are healthy and strong!! I would love to hear how everything turns out!!!90210 Organicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04538335684588628529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-310422393986755518.post-21508896748661352622011-10-10T15:15:53.351-04:002011-10-10T15:15:53.351-04:00I know this is an older post, but I just found you...I know this is an older post, but I just found your blog. I am currently pregnant as well and I am so glad to hear you drink raw milk during pregnancy. I was all for it, but my husband was nervous about it because of course a nurse went down the list of no no's and unpasteurized milk was on there. So as to not make him nervous I skipped it.

Then I dragged him to see Farmageddon and I think he felt much better about it and saw another side to raw milk. But as of now I am on bed rest in a hospital, so of course there is no way I can get it. But I will definitely go back to it once I have the baby.suzyhomemakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13463942753416462607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-310422393986755518.post-70765990247635938512011-09-24T16:58:57.725-04:002011-09-24T16:58:57.725-04:00Thank you for your comment, Katie! I found that with a real food diet. it's not hard to lose the weight after giving birth. I feel like if we are eating right, our bodies will gain what it needs to during pregnancy. It's great to keep a food journal while keeping in mind that everything that goes into your mouth is either nourishing your baby or not. Make you think! Thanks again for sharing and all the best on this pregnancy!90210 Organicshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04538335684588628529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-310422393986755518.post-82007137849265579482011-09-23T23:57:58.542-04:002011-09-23T23:57:58.542-04:00Great Post! When I was pregnant with Vi I lost 13 pounds in the first trimester because I cut out fast food, junk, booze, processed foods, etc. Then gained that back with only an additional 13 until I gave birth. Then lost the 14 pretty much immediately and was back at prepreg weight at a week post. The rest came off and I'm starting this pregnancy 10 pounds lighter than I started my first. So I'm excited to see if I'll have a little weight loss since I've given up the burgerville (my weakness) and have no desire for junk food and I start wanting to exercise. Anyways sorry I rambled but just love to talk about stuff like this!
Katie The Sparkle MamaKatie Sparkleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13832297308249108642noreply@blogger.com
